We are looking for a Student Support Officer to work with one of our Australian education and training groups. You will be responsible for initial contact and student orientation, and other administrative functions.

GoTeam is seeking a competent Student Support Officer who is responsible for initial contact and student orientation, and team contribution administrative functions.
The client is a leading Australian education and training group established in 2015 with unrivaled student offerings across corporate solutions, open programs, and vocational education.

In this position, you will be:
- Doing initial contact and student orientation
- In charge of Data Management
- Managing student data entry, reporting, and validation
- Doing Administrative Functions
- Sending all qualified students, a welcome email within 24-48 hours of enrolment.
- Arranging for a study plan to be sent to the students within 24-48 hours of enrolment.
- Handling incoming and outgoing calls in a professional and friendly manner and in line with the academe’s policies and procedures.
- Using Salesforce to log, send, and receive communication, manage cases, update student details, and other ongoing activities.
- Attaching all relevant documentation to a student’s record, such as extension and deferral forms, evidence of special circumstances, etc.
- Ensuring accurate and timely entry of all data relating to student administration, course information, and customer inquiries to ensure the integrity of information retained for reporting, analysis, and governance requirements
- Processing extensions, deferrals, transitions, withdrawals, and other administrative functions related to student enrolments.
- Ensuring your work practices are compliant with the academe’s policies and procedures and ensure a safe, healthy and inclusive work environment.
Some nice-to-have skills and qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in a customer service role.
- Working in Academe experience is desired but not essential.
- Experience in student management systems, learning management systems and Microsoft Office is an advantage
- Strong customer service skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Can work with less supervision
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Handled liaising and negotiating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
