LFP Machine Operator Taytay

Job Summary / Purpose:

Operate the Large Format Printing machine and perform graphic designing and editing. Working closely with the Sales Team and Production Director. Working flexible hours when necessary to meet deadlines.

Primary Duties:

As LFP Machine Operator:

• Operate Large Format Printing machine, laminator and cutter according to manufacturers usage instruction manual to produce the highest quality print products effectively and economically.
• Blend and test ink colours according to types of materials and order specifications.
• Examine job orders to determine order specifications, production lead-time and procedures and manpower needed.
• Monitor stocks such as media, ink, printheads, cleaning kit and other consumables in order to maintain supplies during the operation.
• Responsible in recording all Job Orders properly and ensure to meet deadlines.
• Maintain the records of finished products and supplies used.
• Perform and record machine maintenance and repair activities. Report to Production Director or Operations Director the necessary repair in advance to maintain highest performance.
• Ensure the use of consumables efficiently to avoid unnecessary wastage and cost.

As Graphic and Layout Artist:

• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for DCDC collaterals.
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for clients through working closely with the Sales Team.
• Managing the clients design proposal from print to production and suggest improvements if required.

Secondary Duties

• Operate Laser Cutter machine when necessary.
• Accompany Corporate Sales Advisor in a client meeting to discuss projects when necessary.
• Maintain DCDC equipment and perform trouble shooting when necessary.
• Help the Production Team when necessary
• Other duties as may be required.
