Marketing Associate

Marketing Associate supports the work of marketing managers and executives on projects directed at maximising company profits and developing sales strategies or marketing campaigns. They primarily assist the marketing department in the development and execution of client and partner programs in functions such as advertising, market research, production, sales and distribution.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in the acquisition, analysis and utilization of customer lists
• Supports customer communication and logistics for events, trade shows, mailings and related activities via telephone and email
• Creates and implements a complete marketing program initiatives with the Marketing Manager
• Help write and design marketing materials, which include but are not limited to articles, presentations, brochures, press releases, and monthly company newsletters
• Administer digital marketing functions such as:
  • Updating website content
  • Uploading and editing HTML as required
  • Setting up newsletter and EDM campaigns
  • Managing SEO presence and providing feedback and ideas for improvement
  • Experience in administering social media strategy (Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter)
  • Prepares mailers and brochures by formatting content and graphics; arranging printing and internet packages
• Maintains marketing library by checking and replenishing inventory
• Provides marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
• Compiling account and competitor analyses
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed
• Providing support to sales team and assisting key decision makers as required
• Any other task/duty as directed by client/management

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Holds a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Management or equivalent
• With at least 1-2 years working in a similar capacity required
• Strong command of the English language both oral and written
• Ability to apply and enforce brand style guidelines to all marketing material developed
• Experience with content management systems
• Ability to use e-newsletter programs (Mail chimp, campaign monitor etc)
• Advanced research skills is an advantage
• Strong organizational and time management skills are critical – must adhere to deadlines, multi-task and be able to prioritize
• Vast knowledge in setting templates, documents, etc.
• Solid understanding of graphic design principles
• Tech savvy and is proficient is MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Indesign, Dreamweaver and Photoshop)
• High level attention to detail
• Can work independently, or with minimal supervision, within a team environment
• Good analytical and creative problem solving skills
• Ability to understand instructions and provide feedback if required
• “People person” who is confident and has a positive personality
• Able to learn quickly and manage workload in a cooperative and demanding environment
• Previous experience working for an Australian client is a plus
• Must be willing to work in Makati City in an early morning shift (7:00 am – 4:00 pm)
